JMSN – Alone (Video)

That boy JMSN is back at it again with his second single from his upcoming 11 track project released via his own record label “White Room Records”.

Now this dude is something really fresh. As a writer/producer/singer, he is a REAL genuine talent, the sound his coming with right now is something different and atmospheric, akin to that of The Weeknd, and boy can JMSN sing. The video itself presents itself is a piece of art, its something so meaningful and deep that unlike most clichéd music videos of today. His music goes hand in hand with visuals, which itself is something.

Man I’m predicting big things for JMSN in the future because this shit right here is not just dope, but super dope. I’m so glad and honored to have been specifically asked for my opinion regarding his music and I’m really very excited for the music coming to us soon. So all I can ask is that you spread the word of JMSN in this age of mediocrity and humdrum. JMSN IS the FUTURE.

Bridgete Kelly – Every Girl EP

Jay-Z’s new(ish) signing to Roc Nation just let loose this free EP in anticipation for her forth coming album which will probably face a 3 year wait like J. Cole, and it will also end up being crap like “Cole World”.

Check it out, the songs are written by Frank Ocean, Ne-Yo and The Dream so its bound to be OK lyrically.

Esthero – Breath From Another

A little blast from the past. This is the first album by Esthero which was released in 1998. This album right here is literally one of my favourite albums ever, Esthero has an incredible voice and she is one of my favourite singers ever. She hasn’t really got the attention she deserves which is such a shame. Over the years shes done some work with big name artists, mainly taking a role in Kanye’s 808s album and some other cameos.

Here is one of my favourite tracks by her, and which is coincidentally one of her few music videos.

If you like what you hear grab a download of her album.

Also did I mention the whole album is produced by Doc MckInney, that’s right that guy that produced The Weeknd’s House of Balloons and Thursday, that should be a little nod to how GOOD this album is, a REAL, GENUINE, CHILLED, CLASSIC album.

Also seriously, the only reason I’m putting out a download link is that its not available on iTunes for some crazy reason and this is the only way I can spread the knowledge and the amazing sounds of Esthero.

The Roots – Make My (Feat. Big K.R.I.T.)

The Roots and Big K.R.I.T., need I say more?

Check out their new tracklist below:

undun is an existential re-telling of the short life of one Redford Stephens (1974-1999). Through the use of emotives and Redford’s internal dialogues the album seeks to illustrate the intersection of free will and prescribed destiny as it plays out ‘on the corner’. Utilizing a reverse narrative arc, the album begins as the listener finds Redford disoriented–postmortem–and attempting to make sense of his former life. As he moves through its pivotal moments he begins to deconstruct all that has led to his (and our own) coming undun.

1. Sleep
2. Make My f. Big K.R.I.T.
3. One Time
4. Kool On
5. The Jump
6. Stomp
7. Lighthouse
8. I Remember
9. Tip The Scale
10. Redford

Game – The Best Of (2009-2011) Volumes 1-3

So Game’s third album LAX was released in late 2008 and since then he has released a plethora of mixtapes to tide fans over. First came “The R.E.D. Room” and then followed by “Brake Lights”, all of which by the way is original beats and lyrics. Then in 2011 he dropped the underrated “Purp & Patron” double disk, followed a week later by “Purp & Patron: The Hangover” and finally “Hoodmornin: No Typo”. Now thats a lot of material, in fact it is 6 albums worth of original material or exactly 100 free tracks in the short space of 2-3 years. Now a lot of these tracks released are quite obviously not album material, and it made sense for some of these tracks to be released on mixtapes. This is when people lost confidence in Game. Some of these tracks recorded were absolutely awful from “Pussy Fight” to “Shake” to “Krazy” with Gucci-fucking-Mane. Who can blame people for losing faith with Game? What he was putting out for a while is unforgivable, these tracks have no doubt tainted Game’s legacy as a first-rate emcee in the game. This led to people not really checking out his mixtapes and it also in turn led to people missing out on a lot of serious shit. Aside from “Purp & Patron” which was widely blogged and downloaded his other mixtapes have just been disregarded and almost ignored, and it’s such a shame.

Therefore, in order to turn people back into Game fans I have decided to compose 3 volumes of Game’s best material from 2009-2011, some tracks that were prematurely leaked such as the much acclaimed “Monsters In My Head” which did not make the album. These are all fully labelled, NO-DJ versions of the tracks. So check out the first tracklist of Volume 1, and if you like what you see give the others a download too.

1. InfraRED (Produced by Cool & Dre)

2. L.A. Times (Produced by Ervin EP Pope)

Jay Electronica – Call Of Duty

Jay Elect drops of a new track for his fabled Act II which I hope will be coming soon. Signing to Jay Z isn’t always all that good, hopefully Hov kept away from the creative process for this album and let Jay do his own thing, giving it a good chance of being a true classic.

Also Just Blaze better have a substantial amount of tracks on this album, Exhibit A and Exhibit C>>>

Read more to download.
