This is James Pants’ latest self titled album and it really continues on without that sound he had on previous albums, but a little more toned down if you know what I mean, not as busy and eclectic but rather more chilled and mellowed. This album is a safe bet if your not really a fan of the hustle bustle of his first two albums, this a little more relaxed.

Pants’ second album with Stones Throw was released in 2009 and serves as my favourite album by him, this is real chilled music that you can just sit back and vibe to.

Here is James Pants’ first album “Welcome”. This guy is a mixture early-80′s sound with influences from 80’s soul, electro boogie, early rap, new wave, and post-punk disco. What really caught my attention was Tyler The Creator’s admiration of Pants and its quite clear to see where Tyler got some of his inspiration from.
